- Stand with your rear foot on the tail and front foot at the middle of your board.
- Place the ball of your rear foot in the mid of the board so that when you push the end down, you can feel the pressure.Place your front foot close to straight across the board.
- Practice pushing down fast with you rear foot and put all your weight on the end.
- If you want your board to keep going up once the tail is on the ground, push harder.
- Hit the tail on the ground and jump with your rear foot as you slide you front foot on the board so that your knee get toward your chest
- Get the side of your foot up to the board when you are jumping to cause the board to go up when you jump. Once both feet are in the air, the board will seem like sticking to your feet.
Ollie is the foundation of all skateboarding tricks and that have to be the first trick to learn. Once you are able to ollie, you'll be able to learn all kinds of other skateboarding tricks, such as grind or kickflip or even inventing your own skateboard tricks.
